This six day unit is geared for sixth grade students. This unit contains several activities. The students will be comparing and contrasting the artworks by Frida Kahlo & Van Gogh. They will also be able to listen and discuss a news story. The students will then use the information in a news article to practice drawing facial features. Final, students will be asked to evaluate their work. Students who finish the lesson in time can perform a word-search.
