Description

Six art history lessons and art projects in a PowerPoint presentation. The presentation is ready to be read by the class. You will only need to provide the basic materials for your projects. These six lessons are my favorites that I have taught in second and third grades for the past five years. These lessons are suitable for all ages, from 1st to 4th grade. The featured artists are from Australia, Mexico and Japan.
The following is how the pattern looks: A slide that defines a type or art and the origin of an artist. 2. An example slide showing the artist’s work. 3. If possible, a slide with a photograph of the artist. 4. This slide contains step-by-step instructions to help you create an art project. It is based on the artist and style. Although I used something else for my art around world unit, this gave me some great ideas! I was searching for art projects that were culturally relevant.

It was great!
