This will help students to learn how to combine 2D shapes.

Each craft is focused on a different 2D shape. The students will use rotation and layering to construct their animal.
So that your students can see their thinking, and follow along with the craft of making labels, you will also need recording sheets.
With these projects, you can transform 2D shapes learning into a motivating and creative experience for your students.
Two years running, I’ve used this activity with my kindergarteners. Both years were a success! The templates were printed in many different colors so that no two animals would look the same.
