At the start of each school year, my children love Pete the Cat!
After reading the book, “Pete the Cat with his Groovy Button”, I wanted to create a craft that my kindergarteners could make. So I made this cat craft.
They look great hanging in the hallway or on a bulletinboard for back-to-school.
This craft includes:
- Class Book: Our Groovy Buttons
- Two different headband choices for Pre-Kindergarten, Kindergarten and First Grade
- Six Color Sheets
- Story telling puppets for story retelling
- Pete the Cat Paper Doll – buttons
This is my favorite crafting project for kids!
My students loved creating a Pete the Cat from my talk about Pete. It’s great to have some extra resources and a craft to help me focus on the theme for the week.
The Pete Craft was a hit with my kids. They’re adorable. They are great for coloring after lunch. This resource was amazing.
