The zip file includes 7 Day of the Dead puppet patterns. Day of the Dead Mexican holiday is a tradition that dates back to the Aztecs. Today, it is celebrated all over the world.
You can decorate the puppets in colorful patterns or create a play for your class with 7 Mexican characters. Your play can be taken on tour to schools.
You could cut out your patterns and trace them onto cardstock/tagboard. Your students will be more comfortable tracing around on tagboard. The strings can be attached to your student’s head, arms, or legs depending on their preference.
