Create your own dreamcatcher from simple materials

With many students, it is hard to make dreamcatchers. This guide will help you make them quickly, efficiently and have fun.

They are eager to put them in their rooms and seem very excited by the opportunity. The students are encouraged to express their ideas and take control of their lives.

It is an excellent way to practice symmetry.

This is sure to be fun.

This activity will be paired with “Grandmother’s Dreamcatcher”, a book about Native American traditions, just before Thanksgiving. It’s going to be an absolute hit with the 3rd-graders in my class.

When we were done with our Native American Unit, the students had a blast making dreamcatchers.
