Fight Song by Rachel Platten is a popular favorite among all ages. This folk dance routine will be a hit with your students. To use in my folk dancing club, 2nd and 3, I made a Fight Song choreography/ dance routine. It could be used by elementary and middle-school students. However, it can also be modified for younger or older grades. It’s a wonderful way to mix a folk song with some dance moves and freestyle dancing. It’s my hope your students will enjoy it as much as I did.
The sheet music for this song and the recording are not included with the purchase. You can use the video links for both practice and performance.

This is a great idea. However, one of the links to the video isn’t available so it can’t be viewed. It doesn’t appear that there are any videos of the dance. You will need to know the terminology of dance if you want them to follow your instructions. As a teacher in 1st grade, it was a blessing that I had minored to Dance. I might not have known the terminology!
