This is a wonderful addition to your existing French curriculum. It doesn’t focus on the usual things that kids already know about (sandwiches, hamburgers, pizza & fries) but instead has some good additional material.
It also includes:
Two reading articles of 1 page in English and French, each.
A one-page article on French fast food (street food, take-out, and fast food)
A single article on haute cuisine
One infographic on dining in France: The order of the courses and rules for eating.
One internet activity that allows students to search for French fast food.
One internet activity that allows students to search for fancier foods.
A reading activity to learn how to read French menus
A rubric allows students to create their own menus.
You will receive a set of 14 printable posters in 8×10 format that you can either print or use on photographic paper. The posters include French dishes such as croissants, mousse au chocolat, and ratatouille. However, there are some other newcomers you will see EVERYWHERE IN France, like kebabs, and couscous.
