My students found this exercise difficult. It was an exercise in patience and discipline to continually look at the grid. Some students had success but it was quite difficult for most.
These grid challenges are super fun as a lesson or as an early-finisher activity. In a previous term, we studied some of the artists within the bundle, so it was great to see students try to draw out paintings that we had already learned about (e.g., Vermeer’s “Girl with a Pearl Earring”).
