Here is engaging learning on the life of Famous Inuit Artist Kenojuak Ashevak. Looks like iPad learning. Scroll to read, discover, make note, research, and explore the artistic style this artist used. Students can colour in line drawings I created to look like her art. Search the internet to find a list of her easiest works for students. Students will love learning about Kenojuak Ashevak, her art, drawing and painting styles.
Discover her many achievements and honors. Her drawings have been used on Canadian coins and stamps. Kenojuak, a Canadian artist who is highly respected and admired, is Kenojuak.
This is a great way to teach your students about Canadian Inuit people and combine art and reading skills.
Please note: Video links included in this project are connected to the artists art. There are many websites to visit. These links are not essential to the study of her life, works, or this project in general. However, they will be a time-saver as long as you have them active. If they are inactive, please let me know and I will make every effort to get them back online as soon as possible. Thank you.

Excited to use this with my grade 3’s and introduce them to the beautiful art of Kenojuak Ashevak. This book introduces her and the journey that brought her to her art.
I enjoy incorporating art into other subjects. This allows me to share my love for Canadian artists with my students.
