The interactive activity teaches students how to use a microwave for cooking a range of dishes. Special education students often struggle with using the microwave to heat food at home. They rely on other people to assist them. This interactive activity allows students to experience the process of cooking by themselves. To enter the cooking time, students must read and follow the instructions. Each entry is immediately reflected back to the student. The total number of TWENTY The game also includes scenarios that can be used in microwave ovens. You will need internet access to play the game. You cannot save answers for later reference or grading.

❤️ What can I do with this in my classroom? ❤️

The activity can be used in a variety of ways. It is great for independent practice or lessons, as well as small-group work. If you are teaching a class, have them present the game and then ask students to press the key for each item. Students can either enter their responses individually, or they could create a whole cooking scene. You can easily replicate this activity in smaller groups. Students will need to pay more attention to the buttons and review formatting. Once students are familiar with the basics of the activity you can let them do it independently.
