Line Elements of Art Worksheets and Art Lesson

This lesson will teach students how to study every element (color, color, value, texture, space and shape) step by step. Students can participate in fun activities. Students are encouraged to examine the artwork in magazines and apply their knowledge.

In this lesson are:

• Each element is presented on a separate sheet which can be used for a poster, handout or banner.
• Students Handout: Artwork and Information on Elements
• Challenge 1– Students participate in an Elements of Art Race to show understanding of the concepts.
• Challenge 2Students design their artwork and then execute it using elements of art.
