The ability to pick the appropriate ingredients for a nutritious meal is one of the most important life skills that can be difficult to impart in the classroom. We all know that these items are not readily accessible in classrooms. I learned this from a former student. I wanted to be able to share this IEP goal with my class without having to bring my entire kitchen in to school.
They will need to find and label the cooking tools and ingredients needed for each recipe and put them on task cards.
