This lesson is fun and upbeat to teach your students Surrealism. This project has been tested in the classroom and will be completed over two to three sessions.
Professionally formatted lesson plans include the National Visual Art Standards, objectives, anticipation set, supply lists, enduring understanding, closure, and supply list. You have two options: reflection and a teacher prep checklist.
This lesson can also be used with elementary school students by using 3 templates. You can insert the illustrated directions page in your sub-binder, or print it out to use for each student. The guide includes three examples from high school students (9th grade), one which is an amalgamation of 3 student works to illustrate the collaborative process.
