Directed drawing is an excellent way to get students involved and also cover standards in art. You can use them for your close reads and thematic units! You can either lead your class in an interactive drawing lesson or have them leave it in their writing/drawing area for individual use. It’s a wonderful keepsake to give moms!
You can request one of my Directed drawing Growing Bundles. This Mother’s Day Direct Draw contains a basic direction page as well as a tutorial video. Direct draws may not be for everyone. You might want to try one my direct drawing freebies. This listing only includes the MOTHER’S DAY Directed Drawing- along with the tutorial and direction page.
Also, you can find the drawing in my May Directed Draw pack and the entire year-long bundle.

This was an excellent gift idea for moms who love to direct draw. It is easy to understand for students young enough.
As we were all virtual just before Mother’s Day, it was great to have this resource. I also wanted to make something special for my moms and students’ mothers but didn’t know how to. The students loved the directed draw. This was used with both my online and in-person students.
