Mother’s Day craft for Mom! This craft allows students to combine art and gives them the opportunity to create a gift for Mom. Students love this craft. They enjoy creating 3-D shapes while doing mini-scrapbooking.

Both the hexagonal and prism explosion boxes offer a unique way to show our Mom’s we love them. Although the Mother’s Day Explosion Box Craft may seem like a small gift or a simple craft, once the lid is taken off, the sides will fall down, revealing a collage with photos, quotes, and other creative elements.

You can make cute pink flowers from the green boxes. The product also includes a QR code which links you to a YouTube tutorial that shows how to make the pink flowers.

This Mother’s Day craft product includes directions and templates for explosion boxes (prism shape and hexagonal shape) in addition to clip art for scrapbooking. The prismbox is more appropriate for younger kids.

The overall idea is fantastic. Some lines are shaky because the box lids were partially drawn by me. The square box lid has slightly different measurements. Also, you can see the faded draft lines. Tutorial video can only be accessed via QR code For teachers who don’t have QR scanner access at their schools, revision might include a clickable hyperlink.

This was an overwhelming task with 22 fifth-graders, but it was enjoyable and fun for everyone! After I had watched the video and had my students view it while they cut and folded, it was easy to understand. We are grateful!

Thank you!
