Music Resources
This is a great starting point for my 5th grade World Music Unit. Absolutely love all the information and the ability to use it online too.
I bought the original “Music Around the World” lesson years ago, and I really loved it. One of the things I liked best about it, particularly with distance learning, is that you shared a Google Slide version of the lesson. It was easy to hyperlink one page of the lesson for my students. I can’t do that with a PDF file. It’s very cumbersome to ask students of all ability levels to navigate to a particular page on a 48-page PDF file. Also, I don’t feel comfortable sharing the entire packet online with my students. I just want to give them one page to complete. I would have preferred having access to the Google Slide version of this resource, the way I did with the first one. Kind of disappointing. I can’t use this resource for distance learning.
