Reader’s Theaters are a fun way to get your kids reading. This activity simulates Alexander T. Wolf’s trial. This drama is a spinoff from the Three Little Pigs fairy story. This Reader’s theater script was inspired by the book “The True Story of the Three Little Pigs”. This script is for upper elementary (3rd, 4th, & 5th).

This is also available for use with Google Classroom™ and is included using TPT’s new digital tool!

This is reader’s theatre and can be found in my sub-plans of The True Story of the Three Little Pigs. If you have the sub-plans, do not purchase this.

This reader’s theater includes 7 speaking parts:

  • judge
  • district attorney
  • the wolf
  • 3 witnesses
  • jury foreman
  • There is also a jury that is in charge of the final verdict.
  • Activities

You can have more than one jury to see if they came up with a different verdict. This reader’s theater is a great social studies lesson on how our judicial system works.
