Swan Lake Virtual Field Trip Elementary Music Lesson About Ballet

Although I was aware of people who used Virtual Field Trips via Google Slides to teach elementary music, I wasn’t certain. My third-grade music class loved this Virtual Field Trip from the Ballet to learn about Swan Lake. You can use it for online learning through Zoom or as a whole class.

You can find the Google Slides Activity hereClick on “Swan Lake” to see if a student clicks on an individual or object. Students will click on each thing to take them to the next section of their virtual field trip. Students can answer questions and show off their learning after each section of Virtual Field Trip.

The Virtual Field Trip shows you how to dance Swan Lake. The presentation uses 18 Google Slides slides. This presentation teaches students about ballet, Swan Lake, Tchaikovsky’s story and how to present a story with no words. It also explains the Swan’s themes, characters, and other details. The ballet is also available in embedded videos.
