Your students can go on field trips to discover about ancient civilisations through technology. Using 3 digital choice boards, your students will learn about the Maya, Inca, and Aztec Empires, learning about history, geography, the arts & culture. Digital choice boards allow students to discover the most famous pyramids, temples, museums, and treasures of Mexico, Central, South America. The google slides resource contains over 40 links that take you to incredible videos and virtual field trips. It also includes student-friendly sites related to ancient civilizations.

Students can choose to assign all the blocks, or they may be allowed to select a set number of video and/or virtual tours. An interactive PHOTO Postcard Quiz will be included.Slides for student recorders are also included. These slides can be used to add activities and note-taking, as well as follow-up writing.

The internet link on digital choice boards allows students to go straight to the website without needing to input the address. You will find it engaging, educative, and even fun. Your students can even take this one step further, creating a report or slide based on the trip.

This site has many great online resources. To make sure my students aren’t overwhelmed, I plan to break down the virtual field trips. I am so thankful that all this information was compiled together. This is incredible.
